Create a free website and/or an online class without downloading anything on your computer. Unlike Blackboard and moodle, Chalksite is not a server based program. It is web based so anyone can create a website and/or online class.
Chalksite has various themes/templates for the layout and users can customize the layout. font, links, etc.
Unlimited web pages and content can be added by the creator at no cost. You can also customize the url with your name or classname with chalksite. Up to five students can be enrolled in classes for free. Then, instructors can upgrade for a nominal fee. See the website for details.
